The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
